Apple Pies to be entered in the competition are due at the fruit-growers’ tent by 10am. Come and have a look at all the different entries for this year. Judging 10.30 onwards, Prize winners announced at 1pm.

Categories; Best Apple Pie, Best Apple Muffin (4), Best Apple Cakes Junior (Under 15) and Open Baking competition

A 100 metre dash along High Street, during which competitors must (a) run carrying a 5kg bag of apples (b) ride a bike whilst wearing a picking bag and (c) race on foot with a pie. Five persons per heat, Multiple elimination heats to decide the Tri-apple-thon champion!
