In 2010 the Applefest will run over the long weekend, starting on Friday night the 5th March and concluding on Sunday March 8th.

The will be a number of changes to the Applefest 2010, with the committee working hard to provide an event that can be enjoyed by everyone. The first Applefest Spring Ball took place in October, and a great time was had by all that attended. The new King and Queen were shown off at the Castlemaine Show Parade, with the lovely Princess Pink. The programme for the 2010 Applefest will be out early January, so keep you eyes peeled for that and we hope to see everyone there.

Some of the features of the 2010 Applefest will be:
A FREEZA youth event at the Harcourt Leisure Centre;
The art show at the Heritage Centre;
A photography competition;
A one day street market featuring loads of local produce;
Opera in the park;
Plenty of funs games and competitons;
The bigger, better and more hotly contested apple pie baking competition;
The perennial favourite pet parade and ferret race;
The ever-popular fun run (or walk) around Harcourt;
A 'buy, swap and sell' event on Sunday;
The informative growers tent, & of course, in all their many delicious forms, apples............
